Sustaining Competitive ad Responsible Enterprises (SCORE) is an ILO global programme that improves productivity and working conditions in small and medium enterprises (SMEs). The key intervention of the global programme is support for the implementation of SCORE Training, which combines practical classroom training with in-factory consulting. SCORE focuses on developing cooperative working relations to produce shared benefits for workers and employers.
Lean principles have come a long way over the past 300 years. From Benjamin Franklin’s early ideas, to Henry Ford’s work in the 1920’s and the Toyoda precepts in the 1930’s, to Jeffery Liker’s publication of The Toyota Way in 2004, Lean processes have evolved from a simple concept to a set of widely used best practices.
This online course will give you the foundation to begin implementing Lean process improvement tools in your workplace.
The course on "Basic Productivity and Quality" will help participants understand the concepts and importance of productivity and quality in the workplace.
They will also be introduced to a productivity management framework and the fundamental approaches to improve productivity and quality.
At the end of the course, they will able to apply essential tools and techniques in the workplace, in the community, at home, and individual level for productivity and quality improvement.
